Call me OCD but.....

This has bothered me for a while now but I've never said anything. However, now that heat shields have came out it really bothers me. Why are parachutes in "utility" and not considered an aerodynamic part. I always click on the wrong tab because parachutes obviously work aerodynamically. It seems like heat shields are more of a utility than parachutes because they work mostly on thermodynamics but they are in the aero section. It's far from game breaking so I guess I'm just being picky but if I got to pick, I would imagine the aero tab having heat shields and parachutes and wings etc. Regardless, way to go Squad, Kerbal is a great game overall.

With that logic air intakes would be in the aero tab. Oh wait... EDIT: In retrospect I have no idea why I said this. It makes no sense and isn't even funny.

Isn't the Aero section getting to big and unweldly already?

If I had any say in the matter I'd divide into say, Lift, Control/Drag and Intake air.

Are you guys aware that you can customize your parts categories ? If you want something to be elsewhere just move it. Problem solved

(but yes chutes should be default in aerodynamics, my OCD gets crazy about it too,and also the escape tower should be in engines section. I'm way too lazy to change part sections and categories myself)

Parachutes aren't mainly for aerodynamics. They use it, but it's a TOOL to keep you from blowing up. Therefore, utility.

Parachutes are entirely for aerodynamics, they are meant to increase drag. They do belong in aero, IMO.

Really we should split out wing parts into their own tab from aero, and electrical stuff from utility into its own tab, too.
