Alpha, it said no part mods or stuff that makes it easier to get to laythe, I bet that means MJ too.

EDIT: Really sorry! i completly forgot a rule! No use of the big passenger module. 3 of these things on a kerbodyne rocket and your golden.

Awww... Now that I have built a silly large colony ship....

Oh well it was fun! I had never built something this large before! It was a nice brake from trying to build efficient stuff.

And btw. Mk2 passenger modules are only ~25% heavier per kerbal than Mk3.

Hmm.. one could launch the habitation section and engine section separatly and dock them in LKO. A 1000t, 2000 kerbal habitation section consisting of 500 Mk2 cabins...

If 1.1 and its 64 bit support comes out before this challenge ends i'll might try it!

I just completed a flight of a 105 kerbal vehicle to Laythe, but after landing I'd only put one kerbal in it

I had plenty of spare fuel so it's got the capacity with the extra mass, so I'll give the trip another go soon.
