Posted September 11, 20159 yr I suggest to create a forum section dedicated to Realism Overhaul / Real Solar System mods.RO is not just ‘yet another’ add-on, but a whole new game with lots of things to discuss about. I think it’s not very convenient to have a bunch of RO-related threads spread around the forum. Yes, RO consists of a set of distinct mods, so one can discuss, for instance, fuel questions in the RealFuels thread and aerodynamic questions in the FAR thread. But there’s no place (or at least it’s hard to find a proper place) for questions not bound by a single mod (e.g. vehicle building). The RO Discussion thread is not a convenient place for different unrelated topics. It could be a subsection of the ‘Add-ons’ forum section or even a wholly separate section with its own subsections for gameplay questions, for challenges, for installation problems and experimental features etc. What do you guys think? September 11, 20159 yr I support this idea!A section dedicated to the game with the RO package (RSS, RF, RT, RP0, etc.) installed would certainly be useful to me, and anyone like me, who mostly want information specific to the experience of playing KSP the masochistic way.
September 11, 20159 yr Supported but, I believe, highly unlikely. If you give RO special status you then have to consider giving special status to other things like, say, USI and KSPI-E and whatever.E: You can also join us in #RO on Esper.net IRC if you want help. September 17, 20159 yr Author …then have to consider giving special status to other things like, say, USI and KSPI-E and whatever. Why not?One can create a poll. If a lot of people agree that the forum structure would be more convenient after creating a special section for that particular mod, then why not?
September 17, 20159 yr Much as some might like to deny it, you're still playing KSP. The "proper place" is the same as always - General KSP Discussion for general chat, Gameplay Questions and Tutorials for help, Support (modded installs) for bugs, and so on. You might adopt an unofficial [Realism Overhaul] tag or similar if you like.
