Found an old account

Hi! this is daniel l.

The guy who is working on Dark Days and has made the ktolemy pack,

I recently tried to log into my current account but i forgot the period at the end of my username and accidently logged myself into an old 2013 account that i though was lost, As a 13 year old at the time i though that ksp development was small time enough that i could pm HarvestR of course i was wrong and got a moderator infraction, Afterwards i abandoned this account, 2 years later in January 2015 i decided to make a new mod called starstuff but couldnt log into this account so i made my current account with the period at the end.

So as a relatively well know member with three whole bars of rep on my contemporary account i couldnt possibly abandon my new account for the grey bar goodness of my old noob account, What do i do with this account now?

it has some old pm's in its inbox that i value for nostagic purposes, as my current inbox is almost always full i kinda dont want to risk them. maybe i could use it to double my pm inbox though since it almost empty anyway.

It's one account per member though, I can set it to not be able to post, but it'll still exist and you will be able to access your messages.

Couldn't you just have sent (forward copy to) the messages from the old account to yourself (new/current account)? Then you've have them available without the need for logging in to a separate account. And, while I doubt the mods here have the access rights to do so, an admin could (should be able to) move those records (merge them) into your current account... I'm pretty sure vBulletin has that ability (PHPBB does). There's more than one way to skin a cat.
