Has this Ballast Tank mod worked for anyone else?

So, this and one other, mod are the only new ballast tanks I have found.

This one's pumps dont seem to work. I can set the tanks full or empty in the VAB, and in flight I can only empty them manually, one-by-one using right-click, and not refill them...???

The author doesnt seem to have a forum release thread for it...And it's named so generically, that it doesnt show in Google, either...
Either of those points means this mod most likely will die a quick and unknown death, much less BOTH of them being true...
PEOPLE, PLEEZE, for the love of God, THINK about the name you want to give your mod!!...Make it something unique, so when someone Googles it, its at the top of the list, or at least on the first page... Lately, I've come across lots of genericly named, but nice looking mods, that will die in obscurity... Hehe...Do a Google for Mk1/2/2.5/3 Expansion packs... Maybe 20 or 30 or more...most indistinguishable from the next due to the title of "Mk(x) Expansion".... Sorry for the sidetrack and the rant...lol

EDIT: OK, so I can Dump/Fill them using Ship Manifest...Only problem with that is, its instantaneous, so if I'm on the surface, and I fill them, I drop like a rock, and my sub stands on its tail, sinking QUICK... If I then instantaneously dump the tanks, my sub shoots completely straight up out of the water, flips on its back and explodes...

I can also use TAC Fuel Balancer to dump the tanks... Cant refill them however... Also, dumping is impossible... I have 22 tanks, and mouse clicking thru each one three times is, time prohibitive...And unbalanced... :(

So we need a mod that you can quickly fill/dump tanks, all at once, evenly, with one click... And something like a throttle control to easily and precisely control the flow.... Any one up for it? Edited by Stone Blue

I have one that I have been playing with, it's been working great for me. Ballistanks http://Kerbalstuff.com/mod/1254/Ballistanks
It's based on the Submarine pack from Fengist (another great one): http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/125063-1-0-4-Maritime-Pack-0-1-4-New-Pre-release-Available
and there is another that works as well: https://kerbalstuff.com/mod/1297/balastanks-extended

They all should do the trick :-)

One tank activated will evenly load the others. With mine you can activate the other tank's pumps (since each unit has it's own pump) to fill or empty faster. So far I have made a few bases underwater and massive MK3 subs without much trouble.

For instance this is it in action: http://gfycat.com/DemandingDistinctFinnishspitz Edited by Jatwaa

Hi. I`m the creator of BWT mod, and it was my BIG mistake to do not create a topic earlier. Sorry about it!

Now i has thread for it:

I can set the tanks full or empty in the VAB, and in flight I can only empty them manually... and not refill them

Compressor that can precisely change amount of ballast in flight is a standalone part, looks like one more Sensor Atmosphere.

PEOPLE, PLEEZE, for the love of God, THINK about the name you want to give your mod!!..

In my case, it`s simply Tanks that can be filled with Ballast Water resource.

Really, not the best name, google agrees. I'll think about it.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
