Exactly.  It's landed on the pad somehow...

And the solar panels are broken off of it.

@MysteriousSteve - can you launch just the satellite and hyper edit it into a 200km X 200km orbit.

Inclination should be about 28.9 or 29 IIRC. The flight path was a bit off east.

@CliftonM There is a mod for n-body physics called prinicpia. They recently added flight planing. The mod is really coll once you get a hang of it

I want to try something a bit more ambitious yet short, specifically, a probe to JUST escape Solar orbit, like the pioneer probes.

That is definitely manageable, I'm going to have to make another LV though, quite possibly add another mod.

Hmm, depending on the payload weight, my forty ton lifter, since it has one restart in orbit, might be able to do that

Restarts shouldn't actually be needed as you can complete that in just one continuous burn from launch

Is there any information that anyone would have liked to have closer at hand, about the launch vehicle, sat, etc?
