How to find Easter Eggs?

I would like to 'discover' Easter eggs, what i mean is to scan a celestial body, have a map show Points of interest or for the point to be shown in map view. I then plan to land there and 'discover' said anomaly.

Is there a mod that can help me with this? 

Contracts to discover anomaly (head to location X) would be nice also.

As for the contracts:  The contract pack mod you are looking for is Anomaly Surveyor.

Yes, SCANSat will create those maps with its multi-spectral scanner. Alternatively the Kerbalmaps website has the anomalies marked. Both will tell you where an anomaly is but not what it is, which I think is the best way to do it.

To save you potential trouble, know that some of the anomalies are either buried underground or up in the air, because the terrain got changed slightly (and changes with the detail setting in the game) but the anomaly never got moved. So if you're sure you're dead on the spot but don't see anything, that could be why.

Thanks for the answers guys. I have SCANsat already - dont really play with it so didnt know you could track anomolys with it.
