this is a fun little thing find randomly while playing. Can you find the hidden potato rock that hides in the sandbox inventory. And if you do commit a picture of the rock. (this should not need any mods or hacks to do)

Look, it's a glitched part and the glitch has been fixed. This doesn't really bring anything new to the table.

I don't think this can be done anymore unless you hack the part file.

Back then, it was a glitch to get the "potato" part in the inventory, (since asteroids are counted as vessels)

I remember seeing that rock somewhere... now where was it? Hm, don't tell me. However, does this require a specific version of KSP? I kinda want to fling a few into orbit now .

The rock’s file is called the “PotatoRoid”. Don’t ask me why. It is in stock KSP. I have no idea how to find it, though. But Foxter is right. When you’re a noob like me, it feels especially terrible to have your ideas crushed.

It used to be possible to enable it through a glitch when reverting to the VAB.  That glitch has been fixed but you can enable it by editing the potatoroid part file.  I'll try to post details later today when I'm at the computer.
