Is it even possible?

Has any 1  ever tried to mod Cargo bays ( shuttle) that allow you to attach things on the inside of the doors? Much like the Space shuttle radiator? Is it modable/Possible? because when I try on the bay doors it attaches but as soon as you open or close them the part just floats in mid air.

Nope sadly not possible, almost every modder has tried, asked the same question, and eventually either given up or gone down the Infernal robotics route.

As far as i know it IS possible to attach to a movable part but there's no point, as the point its attached at doesn't move with the part.

I don't see why it shouldn't be possible to surface attach parts to the mk3 cargobay doors. Looking at the config file for that specific part, it does allow parts to surface attach to it (attach rules = 1,0,1,1,1), and I know for a fact that the cargobay doors have colliders. So in theory it should be possible to surface attach any surface attachable part to the doors.

I don't use the stock parts, so I have not tested out the mk3 cargobay, but maybe @Porkjet can shed some light on why surface attaching parts to the cargobay doors apparently does not work.

I think you're all missing the point, I and everyone else knows you can srf attach to the inside of cargo bays, what the OP wants is for the solar panels to move with the animated doors, which can not be done without a funky plugin.

^^ what he said! I've attached parts to the cargo bay Doors before but they don't move with the doors! so it's pointless as they just hover there. So the original questions was to know if they had a mod for this or not and as most of the answers on here indicates... NO there is no mods for this yet.

Maybe with an IR cargobay. That surely can't be too hard to test given the amount of existing cargo bays.
