Module Manager

I was able to edit .cfg files to make the changes I wanted to a mod. I figured it might be better to create a MM .cfg file to better manage my own changes as well as make sure my changes stay as the mod developer updates the mod.  I tried to start off simple, but my simple start failed before I got going.

So far this is all I have:

Spoiler

@EXPERIMENT_DEFINITION[*]:HAS[#id[ColorSample]]:NEEDS[Knes]
{
        @baseValue = 5
        @scienceCap = 6
        // Original baseValue = 12
        // Original scienceCap = 18
}

As of right now, all I am trying to do is edit the science payout of the 'stock' part. But it does not seem to be working. I'm afraid I am missing something obvious.. What am I missing?

Cheers,

I sorted it out. At least I got it to do what I intended. I think the problem was the original .cfg files included in the mod had a space in the id name. I kept getting an error from MM when I would run the patch with the space included, so I removed the space from my MM patch. I think when I did that the MM patch was unable to 'find' the part. I just added an underscore to both my MM patch and the parent .cfg files. It seemed to work out.

Cheers,
