Equipment for Kerbals.

Hello, i wish i could equip jebediah kerman with a flashlight, rubber boat or a simple parachute. Maybe even a radio for sending crew reports to a nearby vessel. There's a lot of small stuff that can make the adventure deeper.

This already is sort of a thing. Press "L" while on EVA and lights on the helmet will light up wherever your Kerbal is looking. I can definitely second these other things, especially the parachute, as it would be nice to be able to bail out of a plane if when things go pear shaped.

@SvenBorg, @EpicSpaceTroll139, great news for you lads, there a few mods for those thing.

1. For giving you kerbal equipment, you have KAS and KIS.
2. For a parachute when things get a bit on the kerbal way, you have this glorious mod

I know about the mods, I just think that kerbals should have personal parachutes (and maybe even ejection seats) in stock.

Yep, but that is a thing many people want: something in the stock game. As far as there mods I am happy.

I am sure the empty round-8 fueltank with a commandseat in it works nicely as rubberboat, same for commandseat with parachute attached, makes excellent ejectionseat with two sepratrons.

Personalization is the black of the game industries right now, so yes for configurable Kerbal loadouts, maybe add different helmets and suits too :thumbsup: . Also physical tools (like the flashlight) on Kerbals' hands . Never thought about that, but it's actually too good idea to not exist in the game! (well we don't have risk of failure modelled in basegame yet)

I Think you should be able to have tools in KAS where you can move stuff around
