NASA streaming a BO launch? This will be a first! Thank you for magically finding a stream, this means a lot! ...Now, can you magically find a way for me to postpone my Spanish final so I have time to watch the stream? XD

XD Sorry, I have no power in that regard, but I read that NASA was streaming the BO launch and thought I'd drop that tidbit in here for you. Racescort666
Well, that makes the decision on which launch to watch easy.

mikegarrison
LOL. After all the talk of four launches on the same day, I'm not sure any of them launched.

hms_warrior
So...basicly they show they can animate a video? (and yes i know they ARE building hardware...but there is nothing of that in the video. Basicly it could just mean anything. ) Edited December 19, 2018 by hms_warrior

I like the fact that the legs can extend and fold back on their own. Edited December 19, 2018 by sh1pman

cubinator
I dreamt very vividly last night that I went up on a ship like this one. It will be worth it. If you ever get a chance to go to space, do it. Do it do it do it. Even if it's just a suborbital jump.

That's still like $1000+/minute.

It would indeed be very cool, but I'm too optimistic about the future of proper orbital spaceflight to do this, lol. If I ever end up with enough money to do this, I'll probably wait a decade or so for orbital flights to be the same cost. If not, I'd definitely "settle" for this. Unless Virgin is cheaper or something. On 12/19/2018 at 10:03 AM, hms_warrior said: So...basicly they show they can animate a video? I remember once they did a factory tour for media that included suspiciously placed black drapes blocking off half the place. I'm sure we'll see it eventually, at least when they get to their first NG test flight. Spaceception
In the description, they say it'll debut in 2021. I just wish we know what they have developed by now But they must have some idea of when it'll fly at this point, that's just a couple years away. Who knows though, it could turn into another Falcon Heavy, but I hope they will be capable of sending stuff to the Moon in the first half of the 2020s. My guess is they fly people on NS one day before the first flight of SpaceX’s StarHopper... because there is a president... Prolly do the same with a NG booster/Superheavy.
