Hello, I'm new here. Been playing KSP for a while now, but still haven't had any succesfull landings yet.

I've hearing about the fuel consumption bug a lot, and I just wanted to ask : does this bug cause MORE fuel to be consumed st low altitudes (i.e. -20,000m), or does it cause LESS fuel to be use at reduced throttle?

(P.S. - In the forums, some guys say MORE fuel consumption, but some say LESS, so now I'm SERIOUSLY confused.)

Welcome! You can read all about the fuel bug here -> http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/showthread.php/15196-0-16-MAJOR-Fuel-consumption-is-wrong-at-low-throttle/

Basically, there was a parameter left in place when engines switched from a constant burn rate to the Specific Impulse they use now. This caused them to use far less fuel at lower throttle than they should. The bug has no effect on launching rockets at full throttle.
