Skybox looks weird after PC updgrade

EDIT: now that I look at those pics from my laptop they seem prefectly fine! What gives? A screen setting? Or the new GPU?

 

Hey crew, does anyone have an idea how I could fix this?

Like the title says, after I upgraded my PC the skybox suddenly looks like the pics below.

Anything else looks okay and the game plays super smooth now.

note the low res color fade, used to be a smooth fade before.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To make it more clear: on my PC with new screen and GPU and everything, the whitish nebula and the sun flare color gradient fade out real ugly, with low res color steps.

Anybody any idea what could be wrong there???
