Science Glitch

Has anyone ran into the problem of science accumulating as your vessel travels? I did a simple escape atmosphere contract, reached around 74k and then re-entered the atmo. At the conclusion of the mission i had 11000 science and didn't complete the contract. I tried it again and noticed that as my altitude increased so did my science, at about 5 points per second.

I have never seen this glitch before nor has my limited research found anything like it.

That sounds really awesome! I've never heard of anything like it, but haven't played career yet in the latest release. Can I ask which version you're running, and which company provided the contract?

It was the Making History release. It was the escape atmosphere contract, one of the 4 contracts available at the beginning of a career game.

I ran the launch the next day, the science glitch wasn't there but it still wouldn't complete the contract but I managed to make orbit and complete that contract, but afterwards I noticed I wasn't gaining money, nor was it being used when I upgraded the Launchpad. So my funds are stuck at $109,000 regardless of income or expenses. I haven't tried buying anything over $109,000 so that could be a barrier.
