CKAN not Launching

When I attempt to launch it the window won't pop up, I've reinstalled and it continues to happen

What window? Do you see a .cmd window open? Do you see a file asking for the build ID?

The terminal opens but when its finished ckan doesnt launch

Did you browse for the buildID_X64.txt?

Hmm. Might be other apps that mess with it.

What's your operating system?

Recently, I've learned that you need non admin write access to the directory where you place the CKAN executable. One directory that should work everytime, is the ksp install directory, you may want to try this

Windows 10, and its already in ksp, and as for build_X64.txt ive searched for it in but I cant find it where would it be normally?

The 'buildID64.txt' should be in your KSP install folder, together with the KSP.exe, KSP_x64.exe and some other files.

Do you have the .NET 4.5 framework installed?

Found it, and just checked I have 4.5 installed

Hm...really strange
Can you see any errors/exceptions when the console window pops up? Maybe try to make a screenshot or a video if it disapprears too fast.

For the sake of completeness: To workaround, launch CKAN via command line.

• Start -> Run -> cmd
• <folder with CKAN inside>\ckan gui

You can write a .bat file to execute the command automatically or, since this seems to be an issue of the latest release, you can try to use the Broglio release until the bug is fixed
