Ksp won't start

I just downloaded ksp and I went to start it and all I get is a white screen. I downloaded the new 1.6 version, how do I fix this?

Did you use a launcher? If so try launching the game from KSP.exe directly.  

If that doesn't work, if you got the game through steam, try validating your files.

And if that doesn't cut it, we'll need some logs and more info about what's going on.

sorry for posting it all but this is all of the output log. I'm running off steam but I tried from ksp directly and I got the same thing with that. I downloaded it on my old laptop and didn't have a problem. I'm running on a dell precision M4800 with 16gb of ram and 256gb ssd.
