Breaking ground not reconised expantion

Bought this game in the early days (the update before nimbus was added) so as a result i get expansions for free.

With Breaking ground been out i've wanted to play it again, played a bit with making history and had no issues.

Now with breaking ground Im very eager to play again and make robotic arms and suck, Problem is this issue stopping me

I ahve it on steam done the whole check thing it says 2 files have been recovered but then when i start it up i get that samne error.

What do I have to do to fix this tissue

There's at least one thread bouncing around here with the same complaint,   I didn't find them again, you might though, check there to see if they have found a fix.

Ok, taking another look at screen shot, I don't even need the thread, you're on 1.6, you need 1.7.1

Breaking Grounds requires KSP 1.7.1 and the game version displayed in your screenshot says you're running KSP 1.6.1.

Steam should always keep your game up to date except, you enforce a previous version via the "beta" settings (right click ksp in your library -> properties -> betas). Should also be visible in the library already, where this is indicated by a version number in bracelets behind the name:

If this is not the case, I would go for a reinstall since something seem to be pretty wonky there.

Cheers guys i've got it sorted.

Was using  ckan on version 1.6 (Man i feel dumb)

Looking forward to making things again on this
