I could rewrite and fix all the configs but it's too much effort and my ambitions are elsewhere. No problem; I wasn't trying to imply they should be, just that it stood out a little so had me curious. But in any case, removing the aforementioned cfg fixed things, so I'm good. Thanks for the responses here! I forgot to come back and check once things were working as I wanted. Oh, and yes, that is the pain of producing a useful thing. Now suddenly everyone wants it to work with everything. And most of those people aren't able to go and do that compatibility work themselves. So guess who gets shouldered with the requests? I can only suspect the contents of your GameData/Custom folder. I also suggest you download and try an alternate file explorer app so you can find on your PC, the offending config. Windows Explorer's search feature is horrible and I never liked the idea of Microsoft's search index function so I've been using Xyplorer Free (discontinued now) for years. I recently encountered a strange thing when I was using the engine. It is that when I am in SPH, the deflection of the engine is continuous without interruption. I've experienced it myself but I don't know which mod, if it's a mod, that causes that. @FyWoO Thanks for the appreciation and motivation. But a cargo plane can only reasonably be built so large... If you want to carry things that are wider than 3.75m I recommend you change your approach on how you want your cargo to get to where it needs to go. (Particulary: consider using Global Construction or Extraplanetary Launchpads and build your cargo on location.) As for stronger engines, I have plans for some but I'm not sure I want to make them. And I can't imagine why one engine would (magically) behave differently if it uses the same mechanism for tilt. Is it something to do with how quickly they get back to their normal position? I was watching the control surfaces return to their normal position faster than when they started to deflect.
