Good intro to basic KSP modding?

Where can i find a guide/tutorial post or video that covers all basics on getting into modding? I have quite a few ideas and i think learning how to mod would be a great way to spend my summer. Cheers, and thank you in advance.

Check the subform at the top of this section, it has a lot of random info, but there should be some pinned tutorials and part model and plugin basics, if maybe a little outdated by a version or two of the IDE tools or KSP itself.
