[1.12.x] Export Flight Data to a CSV File Mod

Have you ever wanted to see your flight data in beautiful charts?

Ever wanted to see a detailed log of your altitude, apoapsis, velocity, and much, much more?

 

Well, KSP Data Export allows you to do that!

 

This mod allows you to choose from 20 different values to log (even more are coming in future updates), and neatly puts them into a CSV file. You can then use this CSV file in programs such as Excel or Google Sheets to create beautiful looking charts and graphs. Data is logged by default every one second, but you are allowed to change to whatever you would like.

 

I made this video to demonstrate some of the features:

Mod update: Version 0.6 for KSP 1.12.x

This update focuses on compatibility on Linux and Mac

Download it from Github, CKAN, Spacedock, or Curseforge

Changelog

Mac

• Icon now correctly shows
• CSV files are no longer stored in the app bundle and are now stored in the correct directory

Linux

• Icon and CSV files are now saved and read from the correct directory

Bug Fixes

• Fixed mod not loading on first time entering flight
• Fixed "turn on" text not changing
• Fixed mod icon sometime showing on scenes that weren't the flight scene
• Fixed NullReferenceException when logging target information without any target

General

• Make all GUI windows hidden at start

Data Points

• Updated downrange distance calculation to work with any launchpad
• Made thrust currently WIP due to possible errors when staging

Code

• Refactored and cleaned-up code
• References now use environment variables so contributing is easier now

Another issue... when throttle is cut to zero, thrust is logged as 100%

Could you please add the ability to change what vessel data is being collected from after launch (so you could launch one vessel and then switch to another and record that one instead)? I'm tuning BDA missiles (that detach from the main vessel after launch) and it would be really helpful. Thanks!
