[Win] Kerbal Science History - Archive/Planning Tool for Science

Kerbal Science History

Kerbal Science History is an external tool I wrote for myself that I've decided to share in case it's helpful for anyone else.

Purpose:

This tool will read your save file and show you which experiments have already been run, and where. You can use this information when designing your science loadout for subsequent missions.

This should work with any planet packs. I have used it with stock, KSRSS, and JNSQ. (Pictured below on KSRSS)

Download: https://github.com/OrbitalManeuvers/KSH/releases

Requirements: For the time being, this is a Windows executable. As such, requires an environment that can run Windows exes.

Usage Notes:

  • The executable (a single file) can be placed anywhere on your system.
  • Use the Browse button to navigate to the KSP installation and save folder of your choice.
  • The Refresh button will re-load the save file and update the screen.
  • The Focus feature will collapse all planets other than the one you select.
  • There is science data that isn't displayed here - such as biome information, etc. In an effort to keep things as fast and simple as possible, this report presents an easy-to-read overview. You can find more detailed information like that in the R&D building.
