Well I finally got around to getting my forum account set back up (not that I used my old one all that much), but anyways I just wanted to drop by and say hello to everybody and say that I'm looking forward to continuing to play KSP for a very long time to come.

Well just a quick question, I'm trying to change some stuff around (avatar, signature, etc.) but I'm getting a message that is telling me I don't have permission to do any of it, is there a wait period before I can do this?

No, it's because you are currently in the group Curious George which is where you have under five posts (they do this to stop spammers). Once all the five posts have been approved, there is a script that runs to move people up a group so you should have your permissions within 30 minutes, hopefully.
