Aircraft too big to launch

With the new procedural wings I thougth I would build a massive plane. It turns out it won't allow me to launch it.  Evidently, you cannot use the full wingspan.

Well, now we know WHEN we need colonies.

Still wish we could turn that off.

And why is there no SPH?

I build everything in the SPH. Much better camera control.

Also, the control in the editor should be a carbon copy of the original.

I wonder if maybe there will be a SPH, or maybe the VAB we have now will be able to be upgraded to something larger in the future? That's a big plane but it doesn't look that big, not enough to warrant blocking a launch in my opinion.
