Is it possible to search sub forums?

Unless I am missing something it is impossible to search a sub forum which makes searching for an existing bug nearly impossible  

”Each bug report should have it's own thread in the Bug Reports forum.  If you think you've found a bug, PLEASE check the forum to see if there is already a thread about it. Use the search function”

Yes, the forum search function can be painful to use.  But somewhere in it’s interface there is an option to search only in a sub forum.  But even then, depending on what you’re searching for, you might need  another search engine just to narrow down the results.   
 

So all we can ask is that you make your best effort to find a related thread and post it there.   If not, starting a new thread won’t hurt anybody.    
 

Hopefully, the sub forum is just an adjunct until a more robust public bug tracker is in place.

On PC it is easy to do by selecting "Search In ->This Forum" when currently on the bug reports section.

However the search is different on mobile and that option does not exist. Just an FYI to anyone else that stumbles across this.

Kinda possible on mobile. If you choose the search button then pick to only look in topics, not all content, you get a list of forums to choose from. Didn't check how it works in practice though

Go to the KSP 2 Bug Reports sub forum, then click in the search bar and select "this forum".

If you're already on the "search" page, then click "more search options" and then you can specify the subforums you want to search in.
