KSP Version: 1.12.5.3190 (breaking ground 1.7.1)

When the game switches to the menu screen, it starts to lag a lot.

My installation has some saves, but nothing too crazy.

 

Edit: after removing an old kernel from /boot, the problem got fixed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
