space_otter Posted June 18, 2023 Share Posted June 18, 2023 Hello, I am new to the forums and there seems to be an issue. I try to upload a screenshot to the forum, but nothing seems to work. The problem works like this: I upload my screenshot onto imgur or wherever, copy the link and paste it into the 'insert image from URL' box. When I press 'insert' the box goes red and shakes. What am I doing wrong? I have also tried other methods, like pasting the link directly into the post, but no image appears. I have even tried pasting an image from the internet directly as a test, but nothing happened. I have looked and looked, but can't seem to find anyone in the same predicament. The forum itself does not host images besides our avatars so we use services like imgur and google drive to post to and then link here. If you use a direct link (one that ends if the image file descriptor like .png) it should auto embed into your post and should be visible in the post preview.
