1. How are you accommodating content creators that want to make movies inside KSP?

2. Can kerbal appearance change during long hard missions (like growing hair / beard)?

Some early images of colony buildings seem to show a somewhat traditional sci-fi style with all the glass domes and tall towers. They almost remind me of Futurama. Was there a conscious decision to move away from a more realistic, NASA-punk look in exchange for a more cartoony aesthetic?

I do have a few questions I'd like to ask...

1. Why is everything so bright and glow-y compared to to KSP1? Like parts, sun flares, etc.

2. Where are buildings essential to progression modes like Mission Control and R&D located in the new KSC?

3.  Why are the textures for some parts, like the Mk 1-3 pod and the Mk 2 Lander Can, the old models for those same parts in KSP1? The Mk 1-3 is similiar to the old Mk 1-2, etc.

4. How were the new Kerbal spacesuits designed?

5.  Will Kerbals in IVA take their suits off for long voyages? Maybe exchange it for an blue astronaut jumpsuit?

1. What content creation software do you use to create art and assets for the game? For example, 3ds Max? Maya? Photoshop?

2. What kind of background does one need to have to become an Art Director on KSP? Do you need to know how to code for example?

Question: Are there plans to add, perhaps for advanced users, the ability to set rocket and suit colors via RGB and/or HEX  values?

I'm actively looking at adding this functionality as a mod...but it would be nice to see if this will be stock.

Also, @Ghostii_Space and/or @Dakota:  Will the AMA be recorded for our listening/viewing pleasure at a later time?  I have a work meeting at the time this one is scheduled and, unfortunately, cannot make it during the live thing.

It will be recorded and VoDs will be made available.

Will personal parachutes be coming back?

The EVA parachute model already exists in the game's files, so most likely. It's also featured in the launch trailer too.

The question in that case is when?

@Dakota

How soon before the livestream are you going to post the link to it here?  Please tell me you aren't only going to post the link in Discord.

EDIT
Why do I have to constantly find what I need to find everywhere BUT the forums?  From Twitter (which I don't use):  twitch.tv/ksptv

Is there a reason why you simply can't post this stuff on the forums?

Considering they said KSPTV, I guess they'll be using this:https://www.twitch.tv/ksptv

Considering that I only saw it on the side panel on the forums.  I had no idea this even existed.  Once again, ball dropped by mods with communication here on the forums.  It makes me wonder why any of us are here when we just get ignored.

34 questions answered.  29 (88%) from Discord.  Only 4 questions answered from the forums...and at that, only 3 different users (one person had multiple questions answered).  Only 1 question answered from Steam.  0 from every other social media platform that KSP2 is involved with.

So, what's the point of asking questions here if they aren't going to be answered?  Are you trying to subtly tell us that we need to get off the forums and join Discord?

Maybe you should ask how many questions there were, there seems to have much more question asked on the discord. Personally I asked ~10 questions. It's like one fourth of the amount of questions asked here.

As I can see, a lot are also similar. I asked that the terrain looked pixelated, and they did answer that. That's one of your questions answered.  Also, some of your questions are not about art, like your EA question, so there is another reason.

This excuse is getting tiring.  It's not a matter of how many questions are asked where, but a simple matter of representation.  The forums accounted for 10% of the questions, and at that 2 of them were from the same user.  I don't disagree with you about content; the questions answered should in fact be about the topic at hand.  But to only pull 4 questions from the forums?  That's ridiculous.

It also doesn't help that there was no link to the AMA posted here on the forums.  I had to find it on the sidebar through the site reposting it from Twitter.  Dakota has stated he would be better about communications, and he once again dropped the freaking ball.

This isn't about who asked how many questions, but rather about being entirely ignored.  It's like the forums have no presence, and the CM's could care less.

I think there's still definitely ways cms can improve with communication to the forums (like unifying #dev_tracker), however I don't think the question representation is an issue here. CM's should listen to everywhere for questions, however their top priority should be to grab the best questions instead of grabbing questions to fulfill the ideal social media platform ratio. Personally I don't feel like the forums was really underrepresented considering the last 20 minutes was "Hey this is a good idea please post it on the forums"
