In "Deorbiting" there is no heatshield in the craft.

Bug Report

Reported Version: v0.1.5 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes
OS: windows 10 | CPU: Intel i5 4690K | GPU: NVIDEA GTX 1070 | RAM16gb

This is currently no big deal, but crucial to fix for the For Science! update.

Even though there is no heating (or heating fx) yet, heat shields exist already. Yet the tutorial craft has no heat shield. This is not logical as PAIGE is convinced there is one and actively explains why you need one...

As they should have a new tutorial for collecting and using science, one would think that they would also re-visit the re-entry tutorials with re-entry heat being introduced in 0.2.  If the heat shield is missing in this tutorial when 0.2 is release, I will be convinced the devs system test nothing prior to release.

Vessel does not have a heat shield during the Deorbiting Tutorial, although it's specifically mentioned by PAIGE.

No it doesn't. It doesn't have any abalator at all.

Also it would be nice to see how much ablator we have on parts (or across the whole craft) at this point we are guessing there is any or not... (or I've clearly missed something vital).
Next would be to be able to adjust the amount as weight can be saved if you plan your re-entry vectors correctly.

You can see how much ablator is on heat shields by right clicking on them and you can adjust it. It is measured in tons.
