Hi there !

Hello space lovers.

I'm playing the game till 0.16, so I'm kindda young with the game, but the space itself was my hobby till the youngest years..about 30 now :)

Hobby I mean sci-fi but also real physics and cosmology. Human reach for the stars is the idea that drives me the most.

The game offers so much that I'm eternally greatful to all the Devs for making it.

My dream for the future of the game is to make a system that provides the possibilites to connect docked ships into one new. So a window will pop up to re-design stages with all combined parts etc.

A space construction yard also would be great.

Stuff such as mysteries, exploration, alien races, travel to other stars and galaxies should give the game unlimited potential make me a fan for a very very long time:)

Writing from Poland.

Best regards to all the kerbonauts and devs.

Take care and good luck !

Welcome to the forums, Dehzz.

I'm glad you are enjoying the game like the rest of us, landed on any other planets yet?

Have fun playing KSP and go blow up some rockets! :sticktongue:

Thanks bro, to Ted also :) Yep, the game is incredibly enjoying, it's incredible how many hours can pass by unnoticed when you are adjusting your orbit, trying to dock to ships together, or land anywhere ..magic :)

I have few ships on the Mun, it's a piece of cake now, a ship on Minmus, few orbiting...the kerbal's sun :) and one orbiting Eve. Fuel unfortunately ended. I'm planning now a travel to the planets with ship built from 2-3 docked parts, can be difficult and hard :) The harder, the more satisfacting when done :)

Hi Dehz, welcome to the community :)

Lets see now, this might interest you, or this, or maybe even this, have fun :D

Hi sal ;) I've read many of your posts, doing some great job, huh? :D

But to get to the point.

ORDA is in my opinion too "cheaty" :) ok, a bad word. It would take from me too much of the satisfaction this game can bring, to much from this what NovaSilisko and other devs tried to give to us :) Know what I mean? Going to easy way, makes the game boring very fast. Making it hard, making a challenge gives you unimagined satisfaction and pleasure when you accomplish something without all-saying-all-doing-with-a-push-of-a-button mods :)

I'm telling you, rendez-vous of two orbiting ships isn't that hard after several times. Now taking me maybe 20-30 minutes to get close, with orbits almost aligned (1-3 km distance) - then comes the hard part, sometimes faster, sometimes longer...but when you finally see the blue tractor beam from erkle's docking clamp - o man, you feel like wanna scream :) for a brief moment..

So, as for the second mod - it's indeed a work of a genius. Beer to Erkle..or a huge pack :) Hope to see the docking clamp in future releases, a stock ones, working even better and optimalised for bigger constructs.

As for the Orbital Construction...a sad thing that it isn't working with 0.17, for what good is building something big and fancy without other planets :) Other thing that I have some doubts about this mod . I dunno, it's too unrealistic maybe. I dream about getting to orbit some shipyard's parts , then docking them with each other, than maybe some EVA suit actions, to couple the parts or activate somethings ,unfold panels, connect wires, place antennas..screw some bolts etc :) Then when it's finished, deliver materials, then arrange and build a ship or a ship modules which can be connected to themselves outside the shipyard to something big, something that resembles the real interplanetary or interstellar ship ready for hardest of missions :) Would be great huh ?

Best regards !

Stock docking and orbital (and planetary, hopefully) construction will come Dehzz, and I have yet to try Erkles clamp though I will having read your post, I was just getting to grips with Orda, only the basics mind you, I like to hand-fly with no ASAS :D

Orbital rendezvous in KSP has to be one of the most rewarding things you can do in a simulator, it's as much fun as a decent landing in a civilian aircraft sim, it's those last few minutes/seconds of edge-of-your-seat excitement that really does it for me.

My wish is for the stock docking to be "manual", maybe with a targeting reticule and distance measurements etched into the glass, Apollo style :)

You can sort of fake it if you use these.

Wow, didn't see the camera mod, could be nice ! :) You sure know how it could be with manual docking . Those last few seconds and camera spinning all around lol trying to see the right angle :) Sometimes you can't rotate anymore and must seek for other angle. Maybe it's another thing to do the challenge more hard but..

But your idea seems great :) A reticule, in some kind of TV view, you know with static, white cyphers, laser dots etc, o man, imagination furiates :)

They also should do more delicate RCS, there should be a power switch , three levels of thrust would do it. In those few last seconds, wrong translate button can do some devastating consequences :) Or at least give another 30 min of targetting and aligning lol

Welcome Dehzz,

To this amazing community.:D

I hope this link helps if you havn't seen it, its the planned features section of the KSP wiki http://kspwiki.nexisonline.net/wiki/Planned_features:wink:

Hi CommanderLOL :) Yep, I've seen the planned features, visiting them regularly :) So, docking has no color..but I hope it will be in some near future considered as a priority :)

I wonder if construction in other places than KSC will be planned. Whole exploration&colonization thing would be a great side of the game, for me at least :)

Oh, well it's harder to notice if you have any slowdown or jerkiness, but having capslock on will give finer steering and RCS control, a tap of a key will give a very small movement instead of a full power jet of gas or a full control moment in a given direction.

Your steering slider things in the bottom left will turn blue to show when fine control is on :)
