Did the LanderCan IVA get simplified over time?

I saw the KSP wiki page for the MK1 stock LanderCan has an old panorama pic of  inside scene.

I've only just noticed there's now a number of buttons a switches missing in the current version of the game.
It's my guess that Squad removed some assets for some reason. I checked with Object inspector and confirmed there isn't anything "not showing".
The button and switch that are not immediate in front of the pilot are just no longer defined in the IVA Space config file.

Note - Not a problem, just an observation after a 3yr KSP1 hiatus.

Maybe KSC went with the base model - like how options not on a lower end car only have a blank plate where a switch would be.

 

After so many "unplanned deconstructions" the KSC had to cut costs somewhere.
