Big or Small ASAS?

Hi Guys

I am unsure if the big asas works better than the small on a bigger rocket, I am under the impression that is just an estetic thing since the asas is just a computer unlike the sas, the only reason I see is that big asas has more powerfull computer and so can manage more controll surface and such things than the small one.

What your thoughts?

It makes no difference, but I recommend the smaller one-it's lighter.

Indeed there's no advantage of the large and it weighs more... the only time I use one is on the very odd occasion where the entire central core of my ship is the larger diameter with no good opportunity to use the smaller one.

Thanks for confirmation, I removed all my large asas

Yeah, all having an ASAS does is alter the function of the "SAS mode" button and enable SAS mode to control things over than just torque. It doesn't matter which ASAS you have, or how many.

The large ASAS has a larger collider box so should presumably be a bit more stable between two other 2m parts, in terms of stability control of other parts there's no difference that I know of.
