Tw1
Today, I also refreshed the KSP site and blog repeatedly but in the mean time, tried making a playground swing on a Mun arch. This is awesome! I'm going to try that someday.I strapped kerbals to boosters.I tried that a while back! Awesome fun.I found that if you get them to let go once the rocket is out of fuel, they can clear the atmosphere.More here. KerbMav
Once more tried to reach an anomaly on Kerbin - this time with a rover - hours later I was close to the mark on the ISA Map, but the zoom isnt that fabulous and I couldnt find exact coordinates.Wanting to find out what I was actually looking for in this location, I googled a bit and spoilt myself two more that I did not already know. Mounted more MapSat equipment on the KerbalX and retrofitted it with SAS and stuff.Played around with different orbits to fill out the blanks in my Kerbin map. Scarecrow88
Started bringing Kerbals home from far flung space stations and moon bases, so that the outposts can be de-commissioned pending the release of 0.21.
SRV Ron
Landed the probe on Laythe. Got lucky dropping it on the edge of the ocean on a slope. Having the ASAS activated kept it from rolling over upon touchdown. Also got into close orbit around Duna with the older probe and sent the booster crashing to the surface. Will launch several Vanguards to the Jool system with the goal to get them in orbit around all the moons now that the design is finalized. capi3101
Decided I was going to try for the Duna Apollo Style challenge. Redesigned my existing Castle Yankee 7 Munar rocket for the task - calling it the "Castle Romeo 7". Had fun testing out the abort tower. Confirmed it needed all three stages to get into orbit but still left the third stage with plenty of fuel for the transfer. Launched a pair of satellites off the sides of the SM. Next step will be to test out the MM with a Munar landing; it's got four rovers slung on its underside. I need to test out landing and deployment. If all's good, I'll be headed to Duna ASAP.Probably while I'm at it I should go ahead and do the Mun challenge. I mean, I've already got a rocket capable of doing most of that crap now... draeath
I did a perpendicular-to-orbital-plane transfer from Mun to Minmus, from a starting inclination of 105° using about 1,000 ÃŽâ€v total. I used Mechjeb for informational purposes and for precision data-entry into maneuver nodes (maneuver node editor). Used KSPTOT to plan the burn. Manually executed all maneuvers. That KSPTOT tool is a godsend!
Tw1
The effort to return the Moho explorer "Mojo" back to Kerbin continued. Mechjeb's aerobraking telemetry was off, and It wasn't enough to even capture. I had to burn the remaining fuel, (which wasn't much) and all the remaining RCS to prevent Bob and crew going straight back into interplanetary space. Then I finished the Job with the capsule's abort system thrusters. Good thing they were still around. Farewell, rescue module. It would be more than a day before they would be close to Kerbin again, as their orbit went almost out to Minmus. But it was a definite re-entry and landing this time. Soon enough..So basically...I got my Mojo back!
Fernbhoy
Finally figured out the art of chasing down a space station ready to dock.and then i hit the space bar.................Now i need to learn how to dock to save 2 kerbals XD

draeath
Watch your staging indicator light in the bottom left when you do this, so you know what it looks like when it's armed or locked
Captain Sierra
I put a kethane scanning probe in orbit around Ike, only to find out that there are no major deposits easily accessible from equatorial orbit. My planned interplanetary kethane mining station is not equipped for landing on planets like Duna or Lathe (or even Tylo to that extent). So, the new plan is to send probes out to the Jool system and see if Bop and Pol have anything good. After prospecting with the base, I will go get extraplanetary launchpads and get working on a Lathe base (and brush up on my SSTO plane skills XD). draeath
Why not go for a polar intercept?
MrPopcup
Hmm.. Today I Landed a kethane miner on Dres, Took me sometime to get it right but guess what? I ran out of fuel just before 3 seconds of touching down! I hit the surface @ 3.4m/s , but that isn't bad, not every landing should be ' soft landing ' , still, was hard to get the encounter.. hey, with that same lander, I put into orbit a satellite ( which was docked above the lander ) and it scanned the surface for me before I landed, anyway, I landed and deployed my buggy medium rover ! Scanning was to know where to land ( for kethane, of course.. ) but something terrible happened ;(! after I landed, mined and re-fueled, Switched back to my satellite to continue scanning, I found that it's dead, batteries are used, forgot to deploy Solar panels.. so wish me luck to bring in another satellite! Next mission -going to laythe!

Aragosnat
Yestarday I did my first dock in space around Mün. Before that rescued some kerbals stranded on Mün ran out of fuel. But, had enough for stable orbit. Hence the need to send refueler to dock with it. Then returned to Kerbin only to find out that even though the craft slowed down to 7 m/s a second. The poor hitchhiker still went boom. Killing the 3 rescued Kerbals. At least it was a burrial at sea. Since it is where the craft splashed downed. At least Bill, Bob and Halzon Kermin lived this time around.
