Docking Struts

Does anyone know if there's an updated version of this mod? I really liked being able to have safe docked objects. No, I don't want Quantum Struts, the I dislike the blue laser and prefer physical struts (they look muchbetter).

I also prefer the docking struts mod to quantum struts, in part because of the fact that they have to be connected after docking. I keep hoping someone will take over development on that mod, or make another that works in a similar manner

The Docking Strut sumghai linked survived several patches and still functioned exactly as it should. I can't imagine it would not have survived the current patch.

Just keep in mind it is a legacy mod and should be installed in the parts folder instead of gamedata.

Strange - I installed it into the GameData folder in my 0.20.2 install, and apart from the PART{} tweak, it worked perfectly.

Do you know the page link for the part { } tweek, every time i do a search it pulls everything else up but the part tweek itself (mainly every mod in the forum)..

The PART{} tweak isn't something you download - rather, it's a manual edit you make to the part.cfg files to make the parts compatible with KSP 0.20/0.21.

Simply open up the part.cfg for the part in question, add PART{ on a new line at the beginning of the file, and } on a new line at the end of the file. Save and reload KSP.
