Does number of flights in progress affect performance/FPS?

no. the only thing that will affect your framerate is objects that are within the physics load radius of 2.5km. everything else is on rails meaning that the game doesnt calculate any forces acting upon it, and only needs to calculate where it is in an orbit based on its orbital characteristics and time.

if you have alot of debris floating past as you fly around, it all has to load and unload from the physics engine which will cause lag.

I have zero debris.
