Apatheticjester
New tab? I put it as Kerbin1 and the black was still there then I put it to Kerbin2 and Kerbin was way too shiny.Well, i don't know anything about texturing really. I just know it's probably a good source file for a texture. I think you basically have to put it over the kerbin ground texture and photoshop it into one file.Like this? NeoMorph
Do you know what... I wish you could retexture parts more easily... Some of the parts have awesome meshes but then get covered with cruddy textures.
whatisthisidonteven
Would this cloud picture be Kerbin1 or Kerbin2?You'd have to overlay it over the texture of Kerbin, like this
tygoo7
You'd have to overlay it over the texture of Kerbin, like this~picture~Could you send me that texture by chance? When I tried to do that it was messed up a bit. The textures weren't in the right spot of the landscape.I did not rotate the rocket at all.Javascript is disabled. El wonso
You don't need Kerbin2 file just for retexture. Second file (e.g., Kerbin2, Duna2) is bump map.Just sayin'.
Zeroignite
If nothing else, this explains why Kerbals are so intent on going to the stars. They live right next to a stellar nursery.(created with Spacescape)Please link. Gorgeous.
Hedd
Anyone notice a significant upgrade in creation workshop lag while using this? Trying to place multiple objects or just moving some parts drop the framerate significantly, I removed this mod at the suggestion of a friend and it went away.I did notice something like that, but I didn't think it was the mod. Are you using the 4k pack?Yeh, it's the 4k. I have a pretty monster computer and use a 36" LCD TV so more detail is usually better, doesn't seem as though the game itself is enjoying it as much though. mushroomman
I've been looking around at various cloud maps, and how would I go about adding one of those black and white images to the texture of a planet? I've found textures I would like to use for Kerbin, Duna, Eve, and Laythe.

I've found textures I would like to use for Kerbin, Duna, Eve, and Laythe.I use photoshop. But anything where you can pick different layering options would work. I usually use "screen" which makes everything black disappear leaving your clouds on top of the planet.
tygoo7
Where can I get the current texture for kerbin? I tried using the one of KerbalMaps but it was too big so I sized it down but it wasn't with the landscape as shown in my pictures a page back. deadshot462
Very interesting mod. I've read the thread but don't fully understand the cloud mod. Does the cloud map draw white spots on the ground textures or do they only show up when you're out of the atmosphere?

Blaylock1988
The jupiter looks fantastic, I would probably shoop the orange into green so it matches the glow better. That or change the glow to orange.I would like info on the kerbin textures. I can easily merge the clouds on the texture in photoshop, but I am concerned about that misalignment. Apatheticjester
I'm using kethane, no problems. Are you sure you installed the textures correctly? If they are in the wrong folder this would happen.Edit: Sorry, i don't know, haven't tried the newest version of kethane.

Korb Biakustra
Awsome. Thanks a lot for this great plugin and for the Rareden's texture pack; I have not tried other packs yet.For reference for people hesitating, well, don't hesitate: It's the non-HD version of Rareden's pack.
