Umlüx
not sure if this was already suggested, the search brought nothing up.i think (optional) random disasters and accidents would be pretty cool. and i dont mean only big ones like exploding rockets on launch. we already get those reaction wheels suddenly stop working. micrometeorite damage on hulls or solar panels. malfunctioning batterys and blackouts. antennas not deploying. burned out lights. fuel leakage....they should be rare and fixable by kerbals so we can plan rescue and maintenance missions. Darndello
Well, I would be very very mad if something like that would happen to me, although it can be real fun. (Mechjeb april fools comes to mind)Also, this would add a little plus to career mode. But I don't think this is super important right now. Good idea though, it might be possible that the devs will implement it in the career mode, as I sad already. Edited August 20, 2013 by Darndello Damn Ipad. vexx32
Search brought nothing up because Harvester has said he will never instate anything that will fail without it being directly the fault of the player (poor design, etc). Also on the What Not To Suggest List:http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/36863-What-not-to-suggestUnder Miscellaneous. stupid_chris
As mentioned above, it indeed is on the what not to suggest list and Harv said many times random events that would hinder the success of your mission are not going to happen in the game, having your rocket to fall apart for no reason is already enough randomness. That said, thread closed.
