Subassembly struts

I have noticed that the new subassembly system doesn't seem to place the struts that should otherwise be in the subassembly. As you can imagine, this has dire repercussions for giant lifters that need the structural integrity that struts provide.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how can it be remedied?

Works for me, for struts in the subassembly. For struts from the subassembly to other parts, save the ship and reload it in the VAB.

Also: how big a ship do you have? Missing struts occurs on very large ships, about 1800 parts.

Its a 150ish part lifter.

Hmm, I have built lifters ranging from 5 to 75 tonnes and dropped them into the subassembly section and all of them don't have their struts attached when retrieved.

I've seen this issue as well. I haven't tried saving the whole ship and re-loading it, though. I'll give it a shot.

Still having this problem, no struts connecting on any subassemblies, and its really killing my efforts to standardize my launchers.

I had a similar problem last night... 228 part heavy lifter with about 20 struts on it. After subassembly saving it, then reloading it, the struts were still there but only on one part (didn't extend to the other part). Furthermore, the little "nubs" that show where the strut starts is unclickable, so i have to put more struts on.

This doesn't happen to my light lifter (about 75 parts)... not sure if has something to do with part/poly count or not...
