That video inspired me to do something similar when I first saw it. I have yet to actually launch anything, I'm still planning it out

It also took me ages (like several months) to plan that mission and I did a lot of testing and practising on Mun first. Took me ages to get the cargo lander and assembly rover working!

The new KAS has opened up a ridiculous amount of new things to do and Infernal Robotics has so many more options than before. There's actually too much to do now!

OP; Getting to all the planets is a great achievement and has a real sense of purpose. If you did it as individual missions then perhaps the next thing to attempt is to do it as a single mission, grand tour style. That will keep you occupied for quite some time!

I also feel that there is so much more to KSP that just getting places and I still have a ton of fun just going to Mun and I recently spent a couple weeks building ground support craft for planes at KSC, didn't see space once during that time.

Another project that is good fun is setting up a kethane mining process that involves a load of craft; detector satellites, mining craft, shuttles to lift it to orbit, some kinda orbital refinery and then other shuttles to take it somewhere. Great fun and requires all the major skills; docking, precision landing and efficient design so you don't expend more fuel than you're managing to mine.
