CaptRobau
Having a lot of fun with the parts. I am missing a half-length version of the fuel tanks though. Sometimes you just need something a little bit smaller for your designs.
Porkjet
Yes, it might be good to have one, however, I see this mk2 system as a medium sized spaceplane thing for 15t-20t or heavier planes and for these, the big fuel tanks are all you'll need. If you wanna go smaller and lighter, the mk1 system should be used. Theres only a few cases where I personally wished for a shorter tank version such as radial attached tanks. You can also use a small cargobay and put a rocket fuel tank in it.Or what do you think?Guess I will make a short one sooner or later, but the part request list is pretty long and I wanna avoid the so called 'part bloat'
Guest
I'll cast my vote for a half-length tank but that's really only because this game needs more of your parts.

I'm loving the cockpit and the shock cones are marvelous, but I'm obtaining orbit with too little fuel and too much oxidizer. I'd rather not play too much with tweakables. I tend to add outboard LFO tanks to both give me places to mount air intakes, and to keep the CoM where it should be. If my 25 ton spaceplane could be a 20 ton spaceplane, I could ditch the extra oxidizer...However: I'm with you on the "part bloat." Let's keep the number of parts modest. So don't consider mine a firm request. It would be awesome, certainly. If you do it, I'd be happy. If you don't, I won't mind. Still, this is a fabulous mod. Can't wait to see the IVAs, which, given your habitat work, will also be awesome.
CaptRobau
The advantage of a half-sized fuel tank would be that they would allow you to create full-length parts out of two half-length parts, such as the small cargo bay or the stubby adapter. Without a half-length fuel tank the smaller ones annoyingly stick out in certain situations.

DevL
Just wanted to surface again and thank you Porkjet for these excellent models. I tend to remove the lift, but other than that I'm only really missing an inline docking port (and maybe a Mk2 style SAS unit). For now, I use the small cargo bay combined with acstock inline docking port to get the desired effect. The upside of that method is that I can also hide RTGs, batteries, extra RCS, additional fuel, and solar panels. The downside is that there's not quite as much clearence when deploying the cargo bay and the stock inline port. It works well enough though. So, once again, cheers and many thanks! Prime flux
That makes me wish we had extending docking ports, like this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/87/Passive_and_active_NDS..png/300px-Passive_and_active_NDS..pngThat docking port is only extended when it capture the other object (right picture). After the capture, the docking ring is pulled back and seal itself, like the picture to the left.
MaverickSawyer
OK, possible issue...I just added the latest update to the Spaceplane+ pack, and now I can't add an inline docking port to the cargo bays or attach it to any nodes of the SP+ pack. It still surface attaches just fine. This is only occurring with the new pack.

Not in-game or in SPH/VAB.Either you're missing the Firespitter plugin (FSAnimateGeneric to be precise) or the Firespitter plugin is not compatible with 0.23.5. (which probably just means it needs recompiling for 0.23.5)Yup that's it. You just need the Firespitter plugin and you're Good To Go. Works fine in 0.23.5 Edited April 2, 2014 by Starwaster
