Unfortunately this backfires catastrophically and the Kerbals think the Kraken is dead... so shortly thereafter they go back to hatching absurd schemes for giant, unstable, dangerous space rockets. They start to think about making some colonies under the water, with water electrolysis so they will have water,oxygen to breath, oxidizer, and liquid fuel. Awesome! The warp drive powers up in kerbin orbit, and then: with a light brighter than Kerbol, the drive destabilizes and explodes, destroying everything with in a 30km radius. Deadpangod3 Posted February 10, 2014 Share Posted February 10, 2014 2035: Jeb disappears in kanuary, some people claim to see a rocket launch in kune (june) in kecember, Jeb is found in a ship in a high Kerbin orbit and refuses to come down, KSC launches a ship to forcefully bring him back down,2036: the crew of the ship notes jebs ships resemblance to an alcubierre drive, as the crew approaches, the ship is seen to light up, and with a light brighter then Kerbol from Mohos orbit, jebs ship disappears with a flash, a dot is spotted orbiting Laythe the next day. It was Jeb, which had found a new race of pink skinned giants on an ENORMOUS planet, with giant spacecraft of their own. Jeb actually had to transform his Alcubierre Drive into an antenna to communicate that far The KSC starts to wonder about interstellar travel and names for the new system and species. They call the country People's Republic of New Moon Valley. They form a government, some kind of currency, and try to make own language, but that didn't go so well because every kerbal speaks Kerbalian (reverse spanish lol). One such weapon is created, and the GMVC is threatened with annihilation if they don't comply. The GMVC doesn't comply, and seconds later, a massive beam brighter then Kerbol strikes the surface of the Mun, melting its surface and blowing off its atmosphere. It is calculated that the Mun's surface will re-solidify in 100 years time.The whole thing about 2040 was nothing but a political prediction by a naive politician. Ignore it. Jeb returns to kerbin, apon reaching home he finds the planet is at war, each country fighting for control of the planet, and the mun molten. He attacks the Kerbin Space Station and kidnaps bill and bob, they activate the alcubierre drive and race to the system of the pink skinned aliens for help.Minutes later, a giant ship the size of Minmus poofs into Kerbin orbit. At jebs request, they demand a cease fire, or they will destroy Kerbin, the ship is visible from the ground bigger then the mun.Everyone immediately stops fighting, and agree to unify Kerbin into a single country, the aliens generously use their highly advanced technology to terraform the mun back to exactly the way it was before it was melted, it is noted the aliens are ten times the size of Kerbals. Kerbals fight again to form countries, and Mun Colonies agree want to be taken as other race. Now nobody actually listens to them, and they are ignored, just as they were air. About a week later, he shows up to work at KSC as if nothing had ever happened. After being subjected to months of experiments by Kerbal scientists, Jebediah is found to have been mutated somehow by the radiation from the Alcubierre drive and become immortal. Having been kidnapped and brought to deep space along with him a few years past, Bill and Bob are suspected to also possess this trait, although perhaps to a lesser extent. The star is very close only 1/2 light years away. The kerbals go there, find nothing of interest, and return. They also use a warp capable ship to stop at eeloo, plant a flag, get some samples, and return home. 2047: A kerbal scientist by the name of Emmet Kerman turns a car into a time machine. Kerbals stop thinking about time travel to be possible. 2048: Scientist change their mind to more colonisation. First city wich will probably have 2 million citizens is started to be build (idk how to write this), scientist then start to think about colonising other solar systems. That seems to be a good idea!
