Yeah, I know all about it. I also know that the vast majority thinks that Sally Ride was the first woman in space and have absolutely no idea about Tereshkova and Savitskaya, the first woman in space and the first woman on EVA.

I wonder how they will make the movie. I hope there will be cool exploration of an exoplanet in another solar system with unusual biology and geographical features. But I don't want too much alien cr*p like in Avatar.

In 2037, NASA is in ruins from budget cuts, and has given up on spaceflight. Suddenly, a wormhole appears near earth, and with the urging of top scientists, NASA sends a manned expedition as a last hurrah before dying away. The fate of NASA now depends on the success of the crew, as they travel into the wormhole and into another star system. Stuff happens.
