OK, this is a powered flight challenge which *requires* the Firespitter pack.

Using ONLY liquid fuel propellers (you know, those things with exposed blades) as your primary means of propulsion, build and fly an airframe which is able to completely circumnavigate Kerbin on one fuel load. In-flight screenshots are nice, but I want to see a safe KSC landing (all Kerbals survive*) and a valid EOM report.

Scoring is:

1 point for every full game-hour below 12 (eg for a nine hour flight, score +3). Cruising at 95m/s at 5,000m you should be able to do the circumnavigation in exactly 12 game-hours.

1 point for every hundredth of your initial liquid fuel load remaining on landing

1 point for each Kerbal onboard, +1 for every tenth in addition

1 point for each engine used

*Mission enders:

Broken airframe on landing

dead Kerbals

any jettisoned parts except auxiliary fuel tanks and associated detachment manifolds/couplings

Rules:

NO electric propellers

NO ion engines

NO jets

NO aerospikes

NO rockets

NO infiniglide

NO infinite fuel

NO clipping

Flight ceiling is 8,000m.

ANY other pack may be used, but remember: Firespitter LF props are the ONLY permitted means of propulsion.

direction of travel must be EAST (bearing 090) throughout the entire cruise phase.

**Yes, I know a few people don't have FS. It's on the KSP Spaceport, grab it there. :)

I've used the giant B9 wings and ten FS propellers mounted on FS engine cowlings to shuttle 13 Kerbals in something that looks like the Hughes' Spruce Goose, in a flight that lasted just over 7 hours and landed with 1% fuel remaining. Scoring for that flight: 29. I dare you to do better!
