I posted this over in the KSP facebook thread and some people enjoyed it so thought I would post it over here ( I edited a few bits )

It started when somebody started a Bohemian rhapsody comment and I got carried away.

You just need to picture Bill , Bob and Jeb bouncing their heads around Waynes World style at the appropriate time.

I actually think it could be improved, a few bits of grammar and rhythm aren't as perfect, but you've pretty much covered everything. Welcome to the Kerbal forum, Precambrianmollusc!

Either change 'a' to 'an' or write sphere of influence out in full.

Doesn't make sense. Could this bit be changed to be about a launch? It would fit better with the rest of the line as well. Perhaps "Because it's easy launch, with fuel flow,.."

Personally, I think it could be better as "Then pushed stage, now he's dead" but the original is ok too.

There doesn't seem to be enough syllables in this line. Perhaps adding the word "online" after "Challenge" could bring it up

I made the suggested changes, the "Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me" line was certainly missing a good few syllables.

The line with point 23 ( supposed to replace "baby" from the original) needs something and

"If I'm not back again this time tomorrow" could do with some kerbalising, maybe an aerobraking or lithobraking reference?

It would be nice to get the phrase "unexpected energetic disassembly" in there somehow.

Sudden unplanned disassembly seems more commonly used in these forums. The one other thing missing is the kracken, but there's only so much you can fit in one song.

Not sure what the copyright would be , if they haven't issued a takedown for the youtube linked it may be OK, and I think you can get away with a lot based on fair use/ parody, then again I am no copyright lawyer.

Most parodies are hard to prosecute on anyways, and as long as I don't try to make money on the final product, most companies won't care.

I was thinking just the sound and have the lyrics scrolling along the bottom with no singing, so people can do their own. I suspect getting anyone who can sing is going to be tough.

If I get some time I will work through and put timing marks on the lyrics based on that youtube video, that would also help with video scene transition timing markers.

My wife is going to think I am nuts listening to the real and music only versions over and over again.

Then again, she already thinks I am kinda nuts for launching little green aliens into space.
