This movie caught me completely off guard. The only trailer I'd seen of it was that goofy skit with Olaf and Sven that wasn't even a part of the movie. I saw it thinking the whole thing would be like that only to discover its the most true-to-form Disney musical since Beauty and the Beast. It was an excellent surprise.

Same management. Billionaires tend to be adamant supporters of property rights. If they buy your business, they may tell the press you're independent, but if they tell you to do something you do it. All 148 of Murdoch's "independent" editors supported the 2003 invasion of Iraq, for instance. That culture of obedience goes hand-in-hand with economic planning whether its state corporations or public corporations, as well as the hideous errors caused by the knowledge problem of planned economics. "Cars" compares rather well to Homer Simpsons car, the Trabant.

Technically the Ukrainian famine was intentionally caused by Stalin because he was a ****ing psychhopath.

All the new autonomously generated particle physics and clothing physics in this movie are fantastic! There is this scene where Anna is doing a show tune and dancing around and almost all of it her dress was moving naturally via new clothing collision algorithm, and you can just feel the animators made the scene just to show off their new algorithms, just like in the last movie where they were like “LOOK WHAT WE CAN DO WITH HAIR NOW!!!â€Â

Anyways its a fine film.

It's funny how everyone's talking about the content of the movie, and you comment on the programming involved....

Now how many hours do they need to render a single frame? AFAIK in Transformers 3 in the giant snake thingy scene they took about 205 hours! per frame

I don't know but you have got to appropriate the time and computing power both human and machine that went into making a move like frozen.

I was thinking the same thing about the snow and ice. The wisps of snow flying around probably took particle effects to a new level. And the ice... refraction-ocalypse.

Hey everyone buy the blu-ray if you want to find out more about the Making of Frozen... no actually they just spite in your face.

Oh this was the video I was originally looking for:

See they had to make a whole engine for just generating the snow!
