Minigame at loading.

What about in-game moments, taken from submissions by the community at large?

A simple slide show or photo album of everything from magnificent views to elegant ships to spectacular disasters.

Or a series of minigames, like a mun landing, an orbital flight, and kraken bombardment

I find the game loads pretty fast as it is (a lot faster than civ V) now yes, I have an SSD, but as SSD prices continue to fall more and more people will be loading from an SSD and this mini game would become moot. Maybe a few more witty comments for more variety would be nice though.

I have a patent on "game" every time you play a game you are supposed to send me $.02. Anybody read "The Sheep Look Up"? Soon we will have to pay somebody to breath.

I'm not a patent lawyer, so I'm probably mistaken, but I used a quick patent term calculator and I think that patent expires this December...

That said, I did have to guess on a few of the boxes in the calculator...wishful thinking?
