This is my reusable SSTO lifter about to launch a utility tug into orbit. The design target was 5 tonnes to a rendezvous at a 120 km orbit, with enough fuel to deorbit the lifter. In this launch, the lifter is overloaded with a payload of 6.9 tonnes, so the tug has to use its engines to reach the destination.

Next comes a light lifter for 15 tonnes. At this size, jet-assisted lifters start looking ridiculous due to the number of engines, so I'm using a standard rocket. The example payload is a 8.8-tonne habitation module intended for a Laythe base, so utility tugs can salvage a lot of fuel from the lifter.

This is my main workhorse: a 40-tonne medium lifter. The design is quite old and messy, but the rocket is reliable and easy to use. It might be better to replace two of the Mainsails with Skippers, but fuel is cheap, so I haven't bothered. The example payload is a small interplanetary tug with a mass of 42.8 tonnes.

The last launcher is a heavy lifter for 60-tonne payloads. Because of my self-imposed limit of no more than 4 boosters, that's quite close to the maximum payload I can lift into orbit. The design is cleaner than in the medium lifter, but it's harder to operate properly. The payload is a 55.4-tonne fuel tanker.

My single-stage lifter for up to 65 tons (a bit less if the payload is fragile and can't handle 2 G's):

...launching a bunch of girders I was trying to use for a challenge. Unfortunately this is the only screenshot I have of this launcher right now xP

It includes a large RCS tank and a docking port on the back end so it can be used to refuel other ships. And a buttload of parachutes to get it back to Kerbin in one piece.

Here's the launcher that gets my corvettes and light frigates into space. Plenty of attachment points to give a rock-solid ascent.

This one gets my capital ships into space. The design is a large double leaf suspension rig to protect my 150T+ ships from "popping off the rocket" during staging. It also doubles as an interplanetary tug in it's final stage configuration.

Is that even safe? I know this is off-topic, but how does your computer handle that? Huh. I guess you have a better rig than I do.

THe design is safe as long as you don't turn during decoupling. Even that is usually okay (90%) but I better watch out anyway. After the first sharp gravity turn, even Mechjeb can fly it into stable orbit while I do other things.

It's surprisingly not very taxing, I'm getting about 20 fps even with complicated payloads.

Seriously impressive.

Nice! Launchers needed a showcase thread.

@O-Doc: those are insane! And very clever!

I tend to play more "realistically", assembling into space rather than launching enormous payloads.

Here's a family portrait of mines, or at least my non-specialized ones.

I use KW Rocketry almost only for the fairings ^^

Here is the Ferrum launcher, which I have used with great success in the first stages of my space program.

It can take anything up to 0.7 tonnes into orbit around Kerbin, and for even smaller payloads it can manage a Munar orbit.

Here's some of the kit I got into orbit with the Ferrum:

Odd, I remember another thread with the exact same title that i posted on ages ago. Oh well here they are again, my two launcher workhorses:

The orchard Launcher

The Plantation Launcher

Been using these two for ages now. The Orchard has a capacity of about 40-43 tons, and the Plantation somewhat less. Both use the same core, which is designed to be fully recoverable, the Plantation is basically the Orchard with half as many boosters. In essence, both launchers are completely debris-free. My entire spaceprogram has been using these two, with the exception of smaller cargoes that get SSTOed into orbit

Here are the DLs:

Have fun

Yes there is a very old thread that no one posted on so I decided to make a new one. :P You know, just cause.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
