Raptor831
Once you convert your craft and delete the B9_Aerospace_DEPRECATED directory to get rid of all the unsupported parts rendered pointless by mesh/tank switching, its probably down slightly. We're doing even more texture sharing than before, and added only the HX texture set (2048x diffuse, 1024x emissive, 256x emissive.).Its important to get rid of the deprecated parts as they use several old nearly-duplicated textures. Not sure if we're going to include them in the main download or as a separate thing.Option a means less complaining about broken crafts (though some will still break because of node changes) option b means less complaining about RAM usage (but lots of whining from people who don't read about broken crafts)Great. Was hoping to hear just that.
Hellbrand
But why not we totally need somthing that big to transport large rovers to diffrent places in kerbin or imagine the delta v you'd save just by launching the saturn iv while the spaceplane goes into a climb. at 12K
bazz
Is there a HX hull cockpit or bridge part?Going to have to kill some mods to install this haven't played with B9 for ages looking forward to playing with this new update.
K3-Chris
Is there a HX hull cockpit or bridge part? Not yet, but I have some ideas, I'm thinking something shaped and laid out inside like the bridge of a ship, or macross carrier.Going to have to kill some mods to install this haven't played with B9 for ages looking forward to playing with this new update. You can try adding "-force-opengl" to the shortcut, for some reason that cuts 1GB~ ram usage, combine with Active Texture Management and you get a lot more headroom. K3-Chris
Abort button getting pretty snazzy (thanks for the texturing tips bac9). The worn corners etc look a bit extreme at this size, but since you'll usually see it at arm's length or more at a smaller scale the details need to be quite pronounced to be visible. CyclonicTuna
OMG you guys are back!! I've been awaiting the new update for ages (or atleast that's what it feels like). So glad you guys are still updating B9. For a sec I thought the mod might be dead. But I never lost faith

So glad you guys are still updating B9. For a sec I thought the mod might be dead. But I never lost faith We've actually been working on it for most of the time since last release, but we've all had vacations etc over summer making polling all our resources into the final push towards release impossible. And we didn't really feel the point in releasing a compatibility patch since there is a fan one.

gh7531
Is there a plan to implement tweakscale in the part configs? If not it would be probably worth to think about it. Anyway I'm really glad to see b9 isn't dead and I realy appreciate your work.

If not it would be probably worth to think about it.I'm pretty sure tweakscale already works with a lot of B9 parts (engines especially), I can't speak for the rest but I'm pretty sure they'll agree, we're not big fans of straight up re-scaling, since elements of the parts are specifically scaled to fit kerbals (especially cockpits). We have 2.5m parts, we have 3.75 parts, I got a 1.25m cockpit on the back-burner as well.
MaLuS
I took some pics to show the reason for needing the Mk4 cargo parts as well as the HL mainly so i can use 2.5m parts for my XL Drilling rover and still be able to transport it in a spaceplane as you'll see in the pictures the Mk4 cargo from TT (old but still works but would really like a new and improved versions) fits the drill rig comfortably where as the HL cargo is a little too small for the wheelbase and as the parts are 2.5m storage for resources I cant really make the wheelbase narrower without sacrificing stability of the craft on rough terrain.so please please please make some Mk4 cargo bays and tail doors parts, i beg you! http://s1276.photobucket.com/user/Kane_Culleton/slideshow/KSP%20Cargo

The MK4 Belongs to TT, That's all ...In the HX fusilage system, do we have Cargo doors ? And are you make specialy over-sized wings for the HX ? I built something similar and needed to transport it to a different location on Kerbin, but I found only the adapter from HL to Mk4, but nothing else. At least a few Mk4 parts are definitely needed. in B9.BTW, I'm REALLY glad, that B9 Aerospace is raising from the ashes and I hope it will fly as well as Phoenix. That's what I've been talking about earlier, we do need the Mk4. Among other things, there's a market for transporting large rovers and making really oversized planes.
