Q> configure F2 hide ui to keep kerbals visible?

I've quickly become addicted to taking screen shots and having them be part of my desktop slideshow. I always hide the UI but part of the charm of the game is the crew faces at the moment of capture.

Is there a way to configure which UI elements are hidden when F2 is pressed? I'd like the crew to remain visible.

2x screenshots one before and one right after followed by a Photoshop cut'n'paste.

(You might even be able to set up a macro to auto take both screenshots one after the other.)
