This thread might actually be more suited to general discussion. The goal is to show off your achievements with Tech=0 parts. It can be something you've already done, something someone else has done (as long as you give them full credit) or it can be something you want to do and are now going to do it. The only thing is that you can not unlock any tech nodes.

Score will be total science points multiplied by the body you visit, and multiplied by 2 for returns to Kerbin, aside from Tylo, Eve, and Laythe, who get x3, x4, and x3.5 respectively. Score does not apply for grand-tours of three planets or more. You get a free awesome-coin for that.

Here's a few suggestions:

I'll definitely have to give this a go.....normally I only do a single sub-orbital mission for my Tech-0 level. But it *should* be possible to go quite a bit further. With only a pod, parachute and 8 SRBs you can do quite a nice trip into space....up-scaling that rig should allow a trip to orbit, which means that Minmus is definitely an option. Electricity will be an issue though.

Decoupling via overheats is clunky, but should suffice for staging.

No, but I've seen others do many of these. Never seen Tylo or Eve or Laythe, which is why I want to see it. But that's not the point. I just want to see what other people can do.
